Sinopsis singkat :

Kyoko Mogami is a wistful yet cheery sixteen-year-old girl who loves her childhood friend, Shoutaro, a popular singer, but is cruelly betrayed. Vowing revenge, she changes her appearance and goes into the entertainment industry. Little does she know that her journey will not go as smoothly as planned. Along the way, she meets makes friends, enemies, changes people and grows. Skip Beat follows Kyoko's journey to climb the showbiz ladder at first in the hopes of revenge, but ultimately to find herself.
